| Frequency of the Board Meetings and Academic Advisory Body Minimum of once a year Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs/ improvements Reforms are incorporated after discussion with teachers, students and their parents. Student Senate and Parent-Teacher Association contribute greatly to decision making both on academic and non-academic fronts. Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance
The student's senate is constituted as per the presidential form of governance. Student representatives elected from each class constitute the Senate. Members of the Senate then elect the executive committee members and the student Chairman and Secretary from amongst themselves. The Parent-Teacher Association meet at least once a year and elect the executive committee and office bearers for the year. Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance The student Senate periodically offers creative suggestions for improvement of infrastructure and administration. Student feedback on faculty performance is collected every year through a questionnaire distributed amongst students under conditions of strict anonymity. The feedback is analyzed and faculty advised on how their performance can be improved. Heads of departments also periodically assess faculty performance and commitment through a structured assessment instrument. Grievance redressed mechanism for faculty, staff and students
Grievances if any on the part of students, faculty or staff are routed through the Principal to the management. Such issues are discussed periodically at the level of the T.K.M. College Trust or the Governing Body and remedial action initiated. | V. PROGRAMMES
